At 4 p.m., the ceremony marking Charoen Pokphand Group's centennial anniversary featured the unveiling of the "Chinese Da Ke Ding" bronze vessel, held on the 2nd floor of the South Tower at CP Center. Senior Vice Chairman Bai Shanlin and Mayor Hui Jincan jointly unveiled the magnificent artifact, joined by Senior Vice Chairman Yang Xiaoping, who also serves as CEO of the China Region; Senior Vice Chairman Xing Jixian; Vice Chairman Xue Zeng; and representatives from relevant departments at CP Group's Beijing headquarters. Mayor Hui Jincai, during the gift-giving ceremony, noted that Baoji has long been renowned as the "Home of Bronze Ware," boasting a rich history and vibrant culture. As the ancestral homeland of Emperor Yan and the birthplace of the Zhou and Qin dynasties, the region has yielded an extraordinary abundance of cultural relics—among them, the national treasure "He Zun" and several other artifacts from China's first batch of cultural relics prohibited from being exhibited abroad. Notably, the Da Ke Ding, one of the "Three Treasures of the Realm" unearthed in Baoji during the late Qing Dynasty, is now housed at the Shanghai Museum, where it proudly serves as the museum's most prized exhibit.

After the gift-giving ceremony, both sides held a symposium in the conference room on the 35th floor of the North Tower at CP Center, engaging in an in-depth exchange and discussion on topics such as Charoen Pokphand Group’s comprehensive dairy goat industry project in Qianyang County, as well as the collaboration between CP Group and the Baoji Municipal Government in poverty alleviation and agricultural support initiatives.

The scene of the symposium

At the symposium, Bai Shanlin, Senior Vice Chairman, warmly welcomed Mayor Hui Jincai and his delegation. He remarked that this marks the first spring since Charoen Pokphand Group officially moved into the CP Center. Just as the vibrant celebrations of the XinChou New Year have yet to fade, this year also coincides with the Group’s centennial anniversary—making it an especially meaningful occasion to host Mayor Hui Jincai and his team. "The tripod," or "ding," holds profound significance in traditional Chinese culture, embodying rich cultural values. As a symbol of national strength, the ding represents power, civilization, stability, and prosperity, while also standing for peace, development, and the relentless pursuit of progress and self-improvement. The "Great Ke Ding of China" happened to be the very first gift the Group received after relocating to the CP Center. On such a remarkable milestone, we are deeply touched and profoundly grateful for this extraordinary token of cultural value, thoughtfully presented by the Baoji Municipal Government.

Mayor Hui Jincai stated that the Qianyang County dairy goat project, after extensive preparation, finally broke ground on the 23rd of this month. His visit to Charoen Pokphand Group was to express gratitude for the group's strong support of the Baoji Municipal Party Committee and Government. Coincidentally, this visit also coincided with Charoen Pokphand Group’s centennial anniversary, so he presented the group with a replica of the "Chinese Da Ke Ding" bronze vessel, wishing CP Group continued prosperity and success. At the same time, Mayor Hui expressed his hope that the partnership between CP Group and Baoji City would endure as enduringly as the timeless beauty of ancient bronzes—strong, resilient, and thriving for generations to come.

Mayor Hui Jincai also highlighted Baoji City's current needs in areas such as the development of agricultural, pastoral, and food processing industries, as well as other manufacturing sectors, urban transformation initiatives, and commercial space renovations. He further outlined Baoji’s unique strengths and distinctive features, noting that the city is strategically located at a key western hub, enjoying strong influence, extensive regional reach, and access to exceptional resource endowments. Mayor Hui emphasized that the local government remains fully committed to supporting business growth and providing top-notch services to foster enterprise success. He expressed his hope that Charoen Pokphand Group will continue to ramp up its investment efforts and accelerate its expansion plans in the region. Additionally, Mayor Hui pointed out that Shaanxi Province’s dairy goat industry is recognized as one of the nation’s 50 leading industrial clusters. He recalled that during his recent visit to Shaanxi, General Secretary Xi Jinping specifically inquired about the province’s thriving goat milk sector and urged officials to vigorously strengthen and enhance local dairy goat projects.

Senior Vice Chairman Bai Shanlin introduced the distinctive features and key details of Charoen Pokphand Group's agricultural and livestock business, noting that, in the current market context, CP Group’s adoption of the “four-in-one” operational model to drive forward its new agricultural initiatives is both timely and remarkably effective. He also provided a detailed overview of the preliminary preparations and milestone phases for Qianyang County’s comprehensive dairy goat industry project, emphasizing that CP Group will continue to pursue steady growth in this integrated dairy goat value chain, adhering rigorously to its longstanding commitment to high-quality standards—and ultimately delivering tangible benefits that improve the livelihoods of local farmers.

The two sides also further explored potential collaboration opportunities, such as establishing an integrated, comprehensive service center that provides high-quality, traceable, and reliable food ingredients, as well as leveraging Charoen Pokphand Group's resource advantages to create a versatile business platform and drive urban transformation.

After the seminar concluded, the participants took a group photo together.
