Sustainable Development

It always pursues safety and health, and devotes itself to the coordination between environmental conservation and economic development. Its 3-million-layer project in Pinggu, Beijing, is one of the excellent cases demonstrating its efforts in sustainable development. The project consists of a layer farm accommodating 3 million layers, a Thai crocodile lake, and a high-quality peach orchard. This government-enterprise-bank-cooperative model (or 4-in-1 model), invented by CP Group, integrates policy, technology, capital and land resources efficiently, creates capital flows by building a financing platform, and lifts low-income farmers and disabled households out of poverty. The project serves as a platform for the construction and development of new rural areas that benefits all parties related, which is of great significance to promote agricultural modernization and urban-rural integration.

In the future, CP Group will continue to integrate global technology, capital and talent resources, continuously promote China's economic development, and create an excellent model for sustainable development of the entire modern agricultural, animal husbandry and food industrial chain.

All of the food factories of CP Group have passed the certification of ISO9001, ISO22000, and HACCP. Guided by internationally-recognized management standards, CP creates its unique safety control framework. Through the identification and control of risks of each link, it builds an all-encompassing system for food safety management.

Environmental Conservation

CP Group is committed to eco-friendly development. It has built a batch of green and circular industrial bases that involve planting, breeding, processing and selling. Examples include the 3-million-layer project in Pinggu (Beijing), the 1-million-pig integrated project in Xiangyang (Hubei), the 1-million-pig integrated project in Inner Mongolia, and the 1-million-pig integrated project in Zhanjiang (Guangdong). All these projects advance environmental conservation and circular use of resources in the agro-industry in China to a new level.

CP Group emphasizes energy conservation and emission reduction. Measures have been taken within the Group to replace coal with clean energy and reduce energy consumption in production. A host of circular-economy industrial parks have been set up in Pinggu, Cixi, Xiangyang, and Helin. In 2020, CP Group issued the 2030 Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development, declaring its commitment to zero waste and zero carbon emissions.
