ECI Group, over the past 4 decades, has established a host of joint ventures in China with world-renowned brands based on the technical strength and managerial expertise of all the parties concerned.
ECI’s joint ventures in China include:
Luoyang Northern Ek Chor Motor- cycle Co. Ltd, a large-scale mechanical processing enterprise set up with China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd. It has an annual production capacity of 1 million motorcycles. Its main products include Dayang motorcycles, low-speed four-wheel electric vehicles, etc. Dayang motorcycles have a stable domestic market, and are exported to over 100 countries and regions around the world.
Zhanjiang Deni Vehicle Parts Co. Ltd., established with Dongfeng Motor Corporation. It is a supplier of auto parts and components for the fuel supply system of motorcycles. As lightweight and new energy vehicles develop in recent years, Zhanjiang Deni has gradually shifted its focus to auto parts supply for passenger and commercial vehicles of Dongfeng’s independent and joint venture brands.
ECI-Metro Engineering Machinery Services Co. Ltd, jointly built with Metro Machinery from Thailand. Its main business includes complete machine sales, equipment leasing and used machine business, parts supply, and after-sales services. It is also one of the major Caterpillar distributors that provides a full range of the company’s products in China and around the world. Its agent services in China is available 9 provinces in the southwest and northwest part of the country.
Nanning Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd., founded with Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. Its advanced beer production lines can produce 250,000 tons of beer per year under strict quality control. Its products mainly target at the markets of Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces (all in south- western China), enjoying a high recognition.
ECI’s joint ventures in Thailand include:
SAIC Motor – CP Co. Ltd, a company built in cooperation with SAIC Motor, a world leading car manufacturer. Its annual production capacity is 100,000 cars per year. As MG sought to distribute its new energy models in Thailand since 2018, SAIC Motor – CP Co. Ltd will become a global production base of right- hand-drive cars for MG.
CP- Foton was established in 2019 and focuses on products and services related to light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars. With the policy support from the Belt and Road Initiative and the National Strategy Thailand 4.0, the company provides high-quality commercial vehicles for Thailand and ASEAN market.
ECI in Myanmar:
CP Motor Myanmar Company Limited was established on January 13, 2017. As the first foreign-invested company licensed for motorcycle manufacturing and distribution in Myanmar, it holds a notable position in the country's automotive sector. The company's factory is located in Mandalay, Production Capacity: 15566 units; Sales volume: 17,558; Number of Dealers: 14; Total investment: USD 12 Millions. The key motorcycle models currently distributed in the market, manufactured to Thai standards, include: Sawasdee 115 and Smile 125. It aims to produce high-quality, innovative motorcycles that meet the needs of the Myanmar people and become the first choice for consumers.
