Founded in 1921 by Mr. Chia Ek Chor, Charoen Pokphand Group, also called as Chia Tai Group in China, is a well-known multinational conglomerate. 

Guided by the purpose of “benefiting the country, the people and the company”, CP Group has experienced robust growth for nearly a hundred years. Starting off as a small seed shop “Chia Tai Chuang”, it now has become a diversified group underpinned by three core businesses, namely, agri-food industry, wholesale and retail, and telecommunications, with involvement in another 10-plus industries such as finance, real estate, pharmacy, and mechanical processing. Its business covers more than 100 countries and regions with over 460,000 employees worldwide. In 2024, its global sales revenue totaled approximately US$102.2 billion.
