Mr. Cao Lijun, Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the CPC, Meet with Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of CP Group, and a Delegation Led by Him

On February 27th, Mr. Cao Lijun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the CPC, met with Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Senior Chairman of CP Group, and a delegation led by him, in Chengdu.

During the meeting, Mr. Cao Lijun, on behalf of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the CPC and the Municipal Government, warmly welcomed Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont and the delegation led by him, and briefly introduced Chengdu's economic and social development. Mr. Cao Lijun said that currently, Chengdu thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Sichuan's work and the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Provincial Government, adhering to the development strategy of "innovation-driven, openness-led, science and industry integration, strengthening counties and energizing districts," accelerating the construction of "five centers and five bases," and unswervingly promoting high-quality development. CP Group was an outstanding representative of overseas Chinese enterprises, and the cooperation between Chengdu and CP Group had a long history, a solid foundation, and broad prospects. We hoped that CP Group would continue to increase its investment and project implementation efforts in Chengdu and achieve more practical cooperation results in areas such as modern agriculture, green food, trade and logistics, and biomedicine. We hoped that Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont could fully leverage his extensive influence and appeal within the overseas Chinese community to guide and encourage more overseas Chinese businesses to invest and start businesses in Chengdu, and to help more Chengdu enterprises and products reach markets outside Sichuan and overseas. We would, as always, create a first-class business environment that was market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized, providing high-quality and efficient services for enterprises’ development in Chengdu.

Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont highly praised the achievements Chengdu had made in economic and social development and expressed optimism about Chengdu's future development prospects. He was willing to continue deepening CP Group’s presence in Chengdu, expanding the Group’s business layout, and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation, and spare no effort to introduce more overseas Chinese businesses to invest in Chengdu and share development opportunities.
