Mr. Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Meet with Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of CP Group, and a Delegation Led by Him

On February 26th, Mr. Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, met with Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Senior Chairman of CP Group, and a delegation led by him, in Chengdu.

During the meeting, Mr. Wang Xiaohui, on behalf of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Provincial Government, welcomed Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont and the delegation led by him, and briefly introduced Sichuan's economic and social development. Mr. Wang Xiaohui stated that CP Group was an outstanding representative of overseas Chinese enterprises and the first foreign enterprise to invest in Sichuan after the reform and opening up, participating in and witnessing the vigorous development of Sichuan. Currently, we thoroughly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Sichuan's work and the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee, earnestly shouldering the responsibility of being a major economically developed province, unswervingly promoting high-quality development, and striving to write a new chapter in Sichuan's modernization with Chinese characteristics. These could bring new opportunities for domestic and foreign enterprises, including CP Group, to develop in Sichuan. We hoped that CP Group could further increase its investment in Sichuan, accelerate the implementation of key projects, deepen cooperation across the entire agricultural industry chain, and expand investment and cooperation in fields such as biomedicine and automobile manufacturing, to achieve greater mutual benefit and win-win results. We hoped that Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont could fully leverage his extensive influence and appeal within the overseas Chinese community to guide and encourage more overseas Chinese businesses to pay attention to and invest in Sichuan. We would, as always, create a favorable environment and provide convenient services for businesses’ development in Sichuan.

Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont expressed his appreciation for the achievements Sichuan had made in economic and social development, and said he was optimistic about Sichuan's future development prospects. He was willing to continue deepening CP Group’s presence in Sichuan, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and actively act as a bridge to introduce more overseas Chinese businesses to invest in Sichuan and share development opportunities.
