On February 25th, Mr. Chen Min’er, Secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPC, and Mr. Zhang Gong, Deputy Secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Committee and Mayor of Tianjin, met with Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of CP Group, and the delegation led by him. On behalf of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPC and the Municipal Government, Mr. Chen Min'er and Mr. Zhang Gong welcomed Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont and the delegation led by him to Tianjin to deepen cooperation.
Mr. Chen Min'er stated that being the largest coastal open city in northern China, Tianjin had significant advantages in location, industry, port, science, and education. Currently, we thoroughly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Tianjin, taking the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as a strategic guide, actively integrating into the modern capital metropolitan area, promoting the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent, further comprehensively deepening reform and opening up, and promoting mutual empowerment and deep integration among ports, industries, and the city. CP Group had a solid foundation for cooperation with Tianjin, and the cooperation had great potential for development. We hoped that the Group could further deepen its presence in Tianjin, establishing more projects and businesses here, and achieving more practical results in cooperation in areas such as pharmaceuticals and healthcare. Tianjin would continue to create a first-class business environment that was market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized, providing high-quality and efficient services for enterprises‘ development in Tianjin.
Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont introduced CP Group's business development and investment layout in Tianjin. He said that Tianjin's positive economic and social development and its rapidly changing city appearance were impressive. We were full of confidence in the company's development in Tianjin and would continue to increase investment, deepen cooperation in main businesses as well as new businesses, such as traditional Chinese medicine, and strive to achieve mutual benefit, win-win cooperation, and common development.
Prior to the meeting, on the morning of February 25th, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont and a delegation led by him went to the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital for visit and exchange. They inspected the construction of the traditional Chinese medicine outpatient clinic, specialty therapy center, international medical center, and key departments, and experienced the traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis in person. Zhang Ling, Vice Mayor of Tianjin, and Wang Jingui, Director of the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital, accompanied the delegation.

On the afternoon of the 25th, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont and the delegation led by him held a discussion with Luan Jianzhang, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Li Jian, Deputy Director of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Luo Ping, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee of the CPC and the Vice Chief Executive of the District Government of the Binhai New Area, Zhao Peng, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of the Tianjin Infrastructure Investment Group Limited Company, and representatives from relevant enterprises, gaining a deeper understanding of the economic development environment and foreign investment services in Tianjin and Binhai New Area, and exchanging views on relevant cooperation projects.

During the meeting, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont highly praised Tianjin's continuous efforts in cultivating new advantages regarding openness and in-depth promotion of key tasks. He stated that China's development was remarkable, and CP Group, as the first foreign enterprise to invest in mainland China since the reform and opening up, was always optimistic about China's development prospects. Tianjin had a profound traditional Chinese medicine culture, fruitful achievements in modernization, and unique advantages in new energy, advanced manufacturing, and biotechnology. CP Group would continue to adhere to its business philosophy of "benefit the country, benefit the people, benefit the company," further deepen friendly exchanges with Tianjin, build platforms for Tianjin's high-quality traditional Chinese medicine resources to enter ASEAN countries, and strengthen cooperation in key industries, further achieving high-level mutual benefit and win-win results.
