From September 19th to 21st, the ESG Innovation Annual Conference (2026) and the 2nd ESG Expo were held at Shougang Park in Beijing. CP Group was invited to participate and exhibit at the 2nd ESG Expo under the theme "A Century of CP, Ecological Symbiosis" and delivered a keynote speech at the main forum of the ESG Innovation Annual Conference (2026), comprehensively presenting the company's philosophies and practical achievements across the environmental, social, and governance domains.

On September 19th, the ESG Innovation Annual Conference (2026), themed "Being Value-Driven·Collaborative Ecosystem Building," opened at Shougang Park. Mr. Xue Zengyi, Senior Vice Chairman of CP Group China's Agro-Industry and Food Business, attended the main forum on behalf of the Group and delivered a keynote speech. The “2026 Corporate ESG Practice Report” was released at the event. With its long-term dedication and innovative practices in the field of sustainable development, CP Group's case titled "CP Group: A Century of CP: Surpassing and Innovating – Being the Kitchen of the World and Energy for Human Beings" was successfully selected for inclusion in the report.

▲Mr. Xue Zengyi delivered a keynote speech at the conference’s main forum.

In his keynote speech, Mr. Xue Zengyi stated that since entering China over four decades ago, the CP Group, under the leadership of Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, had rooted itself in the country and dedicated itself to serving it. Throughout this journey, the Group had steadfastly adhered to the "Three Benefits Principle" established by Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont: benefit the country, benefit the people, benefit the company. We had always believed that corporate development must be closely aligned with national development and societal needs. The Group’s "Three Benefits Principle" was intrinsically consistent with the philosophy of long-term value championed by ESG. In 2021, CP Group released its "2030 Sustainable Development Strategic Framework," setting targets to achieve operational carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2050. Since 2016, the Group had publicly released annual sustainable development reports, ensuring transparency and welcoming public oversight. The Group's successful practices in actively fulfilling its social and environmental responsibilities had earned recognition through various global awards.

Mr. Xue Zengyi explained that the governance principles guiding CP Group’s fulfillment of social and environmental responsibilities were consistently reflected in its industrial projects. A prime example was the 3-million-layer project in Pinggu, Beijing    . With a total investment of 720 million yuan, it pioneered a "4-in-1" model involving the government, the enterprise, banks, and farmers' cooperatives. By the end of 2025, this model had been expanded to 11 provinces and municipalities across China, covering sectors such as layers, broilers, and swine. With a total investment exceeding 18.2 billion yuan, the initiative had benefited nearly 200,000 farming households. Incomplete statistics indicated that since entering the Chinese market over 40 years ago, the Group had invested more than 28.8 billion yuan in various industrial poverty alleviation projects. These investments demonstrated that for CP Group, ESG was not an add-on to business operations. Through industrial development, benefit-sharing, and responsible governance, it effectively ensured food safety, boosted farmers' incomes, and created value for society by fostering common prosperity and long-term development.

The 2nd ESG Expo was held concurrently with the annual conference. During the event, the CP Group pavilion drew significant attention, attracting government leaders, industry experts, media representatives, and guests from various sectors who came to visit and engage in exchanges.

Overview of CP Group Exhibition Pavilion

At this year's ESG Expo, CP Group, under the theme "A Century of CP, Ecological Symbiosis," used the "Ecological Tree" as the core visual language in its booth design. A giant, openwork gold leaf dome embodied the core image of "tree vitality," echoing the concept of ecological cycles. The pure white base space, blended with natural green and the company's standard gold color, created a minimalist yet high-end image for an agriculture and food enterprise, reflecting the core of ESG development: the symbiosis of industrial development with the natural ecosystem. CP Group firmly believed that only by being rooted in the earth and respecting nature could a company thrive and endure.

CP Group focused on core areas such as ecological improvement, low-carbon farming, and circular agriculture, showcasing its achievements including the Cixi National Modern Agriculture Industrial Park project, the Inner Mongolia 1-million-pig integrated project, the 3-million-layer whole industrial chain project, the CPFresh Thai durian project, and the Yushu 50-million-broiler whole industrial chain project. The company highlighted technologies such as saline-alkali land improvement, integrated crop and livestock farming, intelligent farming, biosecurity control, and ecological recycling. From farm to table, CP Group integrated low-carbon concepts into all aspects of its industrial chain, using technological innovation to drive the green transformation of the agriculture and food industry and practicing the development pursuit of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
